School Mission Statement

The mission of G.W. Long High School is to develop self-motivated, responsible students who exhibit positive self-esteem and the personal, economic, and social skills in order to be productive members of society.

We will accomplish this mission by providing a dedicated, knowledgeable, and student centered professional staff, a well-balanced curriculum and a safe environment.

Our mission will be achieved through our commitment to continuous improvements to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
